Sergei Sergeevich Alekseev
Honored Professor of the Ural Institute of Economics, Management and Law, outstanding Russian lawyer, Doctor of Law, since 1997 a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences since 1987).
Sergei Sergeevich Alekseev is an author of books on general theory of law and civil law. A laureate of the USSR State Award (1977). Honored scientist of the RSFSR.
S.S. Alekseev was awarded with orders Sign of Honor, Patriotic War, For Outstanding Service to the Motherland of the III degree and medals.
Since 1996, S.S. Alekseev collaborates with our Institute. He worked with Students' Scientific Society and was a chairman of State Certifying Commission of the faculty of law.
S.S. Alekseev was awarded with a diploma “Honored Professor of the Ural Institute of Economics, Management and Law” on April 21, 2009. Rector of the Institute, Candidate of Law, Docent A.M. Asadov, Doctor of Law, Professor D.N. Bakhrakh and Candidate of Law, Professor M.Ya. Kirillova presented him the diploma.
Nicola Acocello
Honored Professor of the Ural Institute of Economics, Management and Law, Professor of Rome University La Sapienza.
Nicola Acocello is one of the most famous European specialists in the sphere of economy. He is a Professor at the department of political economy of Rome University La Sapienza.
He actively works in scientific, practical and public spheres. Since 1971, he is an academic of economic disciplines (economics, political economy, enterprise economy, etc.). He was a Professor in several universities of Italy, a member of research committees and a head of students’ programs. Today, he is a member of Italian Economic Association.
N.Acocello is an author of about 100 scientific works. His works were published in famous scientific journals of Europe. He is an author of books published in some European countries: Economic Policy in the Age of Globalization and Foundations of Economic Policy.
He actively participates in scientific programs and conferences held by the most famous universities in the world (Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, United Nations University, etc.)
For several years, Nicola Acocello actively participates in international conferences organized by the Ural Institute of Economics, Management and Law, holds master-classes for students and postgraduates of the Institute.
Fridrikh Akimovich Sholokhovich
Honored Professor of the Ural Institute of Economics, Management and Law, outstanding mathematician, Professor, academic of the Academy of Education Informatization.
He was born in Slutsk (Byelorussia) on August 5, 1923. He entered the faculty of physics and mathematics at Ural University in 1940. After the beginning of war, in autumn 1941, F.A. Sholokhovich went to the front as a volunteer. He fought in Ukraine, the Crimea and Baltic countries. Not long before the Victory Day, he was badly wounded in the storm of Königsberg. After graduating from the university, F.A.Sholokhovich started a scientific work within a scientific school headed by a famous scientist E.A. Barbashin. He defended a thesis Linear Dynamic Systems in Banach Space in 1958. Later F.A. Sholokhovich became one of the founders of a new scientific tendency in the sphere of controllability research of distributed parameter system.
F.A. Sholokhovich is an author of more than 60 scientific works on the theory of dynamic systems, programming and parallel calculations. Two Candidate's dissertations were prepared under his guidance. Since 1963 to 1975 and since 1982 to 1996 he was a head of the department of computing mathematics at Ural State University; since 1965 to 1968 he was a Dean of the faculty of mathematics and mechanics. He became a Professor in 1981. F.A. Sholokhovich contributed to the development of Computer Center of Ural State University where he was a head since 1975 to 1985. During this period, a laboratory Orbit (Rus. Orbita) was established. It developed software for cosmonauts’ training simulators for the company Energy (Rus. Energiya). The USSR Higher Education Ministry awarded him (1979) for reorganization of Computer Center.
