Students of the Faculty of Economics get fundamental knowledge in the spheres of economic theory, enterprise economy, management, marketing, external economic activity, banking, transactions on the securities market. Graduating students of this faculty are able to realize their skills and abilities at the labor market of the Russian Federation.

The faculty has more than 1000 full-time and part-time students.

The educational process is realized according to modern programs and methods made by the leading specialists in the sphere of economics, finance and management and in accordance with state education standards.

Faculty of Economics trains specialists on the following specialties:

Every year, professors from Italian, French, German and American Universities hold master classes at the faculty.

Professors of Russia’s leading Universities and Institutes (Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov, State University – Higher School of Economics) and famous practitioners in the sphere of economy and management give special courses and elective classes.

Brief Historical Reference

The Faculty of Economics was established in 2006 by reorganization of full-time faculty. The full-time faculty was formed in 1992. During this time, students studied Economics and Law, Economics, and Jurisprudence at the full-time faculty. Since 1997, the faculty has a part-time tuition.

By 2005, more than 1500 students studied five specialties for five years at the full-time faculty.

Today, the Faculty of Economics has 3 specialties and 7 specializations. Students of the faculty can get a bachelor’s degree in economics, management or master’s degree in economics and have additional education.
